Job Description:
Our client is a rapidly growing private healthcare insurance organisation with regional offices around the country.

Due to their continued success they have become one of the most recognisable brand names within the industry offering excellent long term career stability, training and progression potential.

They currently have a vacancy for a Field Sales Team Leader for the East of England / East Anglia area (Norfolk - Milton Keynes - Essex - Peterborough)

You will be responsible for leading a team of 4-6 direct face to face field sales executives, who will be based in a variety of environments (corporate office canteens, bus stations, etc), taking overall accountability for its sales and quality performance. Working closely with other team leaders and the Area Manager to successfully implement operational sales plans and achieve team sales targets and objectives.

Other duties include;
- Day to day management, coaching, motivation to achieve and exceed their personal sales targets to meet the team targets
- Achieve a personal sales target within a direct face to face environment that counts towards the team target. Some of these sales should be achieved at the same time as demonstrating and coaching team members through the sales process
- Monitor the sales techniques of direct reports and provide appropriate coaching and demonstration, identify training needs and work with Area Manager and Sales trainers to work on common areas. Develop effective development plans for team members
- Support the Area Manager in local team selection and recruitment
- Accountable for the team quality performance targets which includes conducting and documenting field sales observations in line with T & C scheme requirements, FSA requirements, Treating Customers Fairly and behavioural expectations as well as retention (cancellation) targets

The role is predominantly field based (4 out of 5 days) operating within the normal working hours of Mon - Fri 9 - 5 with appreciation to work outside these hours where necessary.
There is a requirement for some overnight stays.
There will be a need to attend meetings which could be at an off site location or in one of the business locations - Bristol, Andover, Leeds or Manchester.

Candidates must have a strong background and proven track record of managing a direct or B2C sales field based sales team, meeting and exceeding team and individual targets as well as coaching and mentoring team members. Therefore excellent man management and sales skills are essential

Full UK drivers licence with no more than 6 points and no previous disqualifications.

Due to the region covered a preferred location would be Cambridge or surrounding area.


Package:
Salary: £25,000 + capped bonus (OTE 30K pa) + annual bonus + annual salary reviews + Hybrid company car (or allowance) + Blackberry
