North Somerset Council invest in business adviceThousands of pounds are to be poured in the North Somerset economy to help support businesses struggling as a result of the recession. North Somerset Council has earmarked £15,000 from its contingency funds with £10,000 of it going towards giving specific business advice and support to traders. The money is being used to put together a survey of all business across the district to ask them what they think would boost trade. The responses of the survey will then be used by the authority to target funding at improving the area in an attempt to attract not only visitors but also new business to the district.
